How DoDa Helped LUC Visualise Renewable Energy Proposals for Trydan Gwyrdd Cymru
As Wales accelerates its transition to clean energy, public engagement plays a crucial role in shaping renewable energy projects. That’s where DoDA & Land Use Consultants (LUC) stepped in to support Trydan Gwyrdd Cymru, Wales’ publicly owned renewable energy developer, with cutting-edge digital tools to improve community consultation and landscape understanding.
LUC produced the visual content, and DoDA developed the platform and the UI & UX.
Our teams actively joined customer project meetings and supported consultation events. These interactions serve a dual purpose: empowering community members while feeding real public sentiment back into Trydan’s planning and communications work. The visual tools have also been showcased at regional events, such as the Green Economy Conference in Swansea, broadening awareness of Wales’ renewable energy ambitions and inviting diverse perspectives on how infrastructure might coexist with local landscapes.
